I found this great Raku fired pendant here in Sacramento (artist unknown). The stitched support was my first
improvised project.

Another spiral stitched Raku bead.
The spiral stitch is my favorite stitch for seed beads. This piece was commissioned by B. Clements. See
my "Work In Progress" page for pictures of the handmaking progress. Without a doubt, this is a one of a kind necklace.
It is also versatile and can be worn at least three different ways: tied around the front, folded in half
with the ends looped through, or around the front of the neck first, then over the shoulders.

| Macrame Lampwork Bead |

| Inspired by Kris Buchanan |
Made with mixed fiber, this necklace caresses your neck. The lampwork bead was created by my friend Nanette
Grenier (Scorpio Beads).
This bead was one of only a handful I was able to find during a tour of China. I created a macrame
bezel that hangs on a kumihimo braid (my first). Beads, including swarosvki crystals, cascade from behind the moth.
